"Vinda", "presença". É na vinda de Cristo que os que são dele ressuscitam (v. 23): a ressurreição dos justos está ligada à volta, não à morte de cada um.

παρουσία (parousia): presença real ou chegada oficial de um rei/imperador a uma cidade; designa a Segunda Vinda pública e única de Cristo.

παρουσία (parousia): a vinda do Senhor Jesus Cristo, unida no grego por um único artigo definido à "nossa reunião com Ele".
